  • Integrated Workflow

All studio systems are designed to function within a complete media ecosystem, integrating:

    • Master Control: Ross MC1-UHD for multichannel branding & playout
    • Media Asset Management: PCI Louise, MediaBench, Cindy & Mogador for centralized metadata and monetization
    • Ingest & Playout: Harmonic Spectrum X servers and Mediagrid storage for high-density broadcast operations

This architecture enables automation, remote control, and efficient collaboration, ensuring content moves seamlessly from creation to archive.

    Archive Solution

Our archiving solution is based on proven archiving techniques for broadcast stations, corporates and national archives. We adopted the 3-2-1
archiving rule, which requires three copies of your data, stored on two different types of media, with one copy kept off-site. This method
ensures data redundancy and resilience, protecting against a single point of failure like a hardware crash, natural disaster, or cyberattack. This
system provides a hybrid archiving architecture that combines on-premises storage and rapid online access with secure, long-term
    preservation.

    Solid-State Technology

    • High-density storage
    • Cold-storage mode reduces power use to 0.25 W/TB
    • Low-Cost ‘Off-the-Shelf’ Commodity Disk Drives
    • No mechanical components — instant access and 10+ years lifespan
    • Automatic space recovery without compaction

    LTO Tape Library

    • Proven long-term backup
    • Reliable, cost-effective solution for massive data growth
    • Ideal for compliance, redundancy, and disaster recovery

    Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Thomson Broadcast provides comprehensive Business Continuity solutions to ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations in the event of a major
disaster or failure at the main studio or Master Control Room (MCR).

Our approach includes deploying redundant control rooms, remote or cloud playout solutions, and disaster-recovery-ready OBVAN or secondary studio systems. Each backup environment is engineered to mirror your primary workflow — maintaining live transmission, signal routing, media access, and automation control without operational loss. With secure IP connectivity, mirrored data storage, and real-time synchronisation, your network remains online seamlessly while critical systems are restored. This ensures your channel’s continuity, compliance, and broadcast integrity, even under the most challenging conditions.
