About ARELIS Group
The French group formed by the merger in 2010 of two innovative companies MEUSONIC and SERICAD became in less than two years a major industrial and strategic partner in microwave energy conversion. Member of the Gifas (Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautique et Spatiale) and of the NAE (AeroEspace Normandy), the group acquired in 2010 LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) activity of ZODIAC Data Systems. The group manufactures since 2011 radar power modules for a subsidiary of Thales in Brazil and has acquired a production unit AsteelFlash Anjou. ARELIS is also actively supported by the French DGA (Direction Générale de l’Armement) especially through the RAPID program, a financial support program dedicated to small defense companies. ARELIS has been fundraised in June 2012 by ACE Management (a private equity investor acting on behalf of prime rank partners such as EADS, Airbus, Thales, Safran, CEA, Areva…) for 6.5 million Euros which has strongly accelerated its development and external growth. The French group has now significant financial resources to carry out its development policy. The goal is to increase by 3 years € 27 million turnover to € 75 million in the areas of R & D and production in the microwave electronics and energy conversion as well as testing.
